Comments
A1: Both...enjoy waking up to the rooster crow, or to the sound of the hooting owl. However, I much prefer early, cold, sunny, winter mornings!
A2: Usually, Bela Fleck does the trick. I also find The Samples, John Gorka, and the Subdudes can do it as well. For the hint of humor that will bring a smile and a chuckle, I go for a few songs I've collected just for that intent and purpose. The best mood lifter for me though...the sound of my feet on the earth, surrounded by the echoes of nature.
A3: Impacted wisdom tooth when I was in high school. Not an experience I'd ever wish upon anyone, especially when they decided not to "put me under". The Novacaine didn't really work that well.
A4: Swim the English Channel! Already have eaten Rocky Mtn. Oysters (blah...), and I'm not a fan of Martha Stewart.
A5: I have several best friends...and could never put one above them all.
A6: Nope...another Hallmark Card created holiday.

1. morning person

3. 4 wisdom teeth when I was 21
4.Martha Stewart, seriously
5. corny, but true-- my husband

1. Morning Person definitly
2. Depends on why I'm blue but the one song that comes to mind is Styx Fooling Yourself. Pretty much anything by Rush.
3 No. But my dentist is after me to extract a baby tooth I still have. 31 years old and I still have a baby tooth. What gives?
4. Rocky Mountain Oysters
5. Spouse. Non spousal? My friend Dave in Vegas. Yes Vegas Dave.
6. Unfortunately yes. In fact I work hard at trying not to celebrate it but usually get suckered into it somehow.

I'm definitely not a morning person. When I'm blue, I like to listen to any song by Garbage. I've had wisdom teeth pulled, and 2 front teeth when I got braces in 7th grade. I love oysters in any way, shape or form.
My best friend is K, who was my roommate freshman year of college. She knows me better than anyone. I'm also really, really close to my sister. We talk on the phone almost every day.
And yes, I like Valentine's Day. What could beat a day that's entirely devoted to love and friendship?

1. Morning person, big time. Once I make it out of the shower, it's game on! Doesn't really matter what time that is, so long as I've had some winks beforehand.
2. "Open Road" by Gary Barlow.
3. Yes... wisdom teeth on two separate occasions. Looking back on it, I wish I had had them all pulled in one sitting.
4. Oh, that's easy...swim the English Channel. I wouldn't last more than a couple of days, if that long, with Martha Stewart, and RMO, which are served at Coors Field (home of the Colorado Rockies) are just plain gross (but oddly enough, they smell really good when frying up).
5. My best friend... that's easy too... my girlfriend.
6. "Celebrate" valentine's day, no. Observe it, yes. There are very few holidays, made up or otherwise, that I actually celebrate (the exception being birthdays).

1. Morning person for sure!
2. Most 80s pop ;-)
3. No teeth pulled yet...my dentist keeps suggesting that i get those wisdom teeth removed, but i pretend like i can't hear him
4. When it comes to food, my rule of thumb is to try a dish at least once...haven't had bull balls yet, so i guess i'll go with those.
5. the hubby is the bestest friend
6. nope. never have, probably never will.

1. Are you a morning person or a night owl?
I'm a day person by nature but I just can't seem to wake up to see the entire morning.
2. What song lifts your mood when you're feeling blue?
Just one song?
3. Have you ever had any teeth pulled?
No!
4. Would you rather a)work for Martha Stewart, b) swim the English Channel, or c) eat a serving of Rocky Mountain Oysters?
C. and lovin' it.
5. Who is your best friend?
I stoped labeling anyone as best friend at age 14. People change and so do my friends. I have several close friends. Every one of them is worth knowing in thier own unique way.
6. Do you celebrate Valentine's Day?
YES/NO...circumstances in life dictate that one year by year.
